About the Design

Abby was an artist, chef & world traveler. Diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 4, Abby endured over 2 ½ years of treatment. After 11 months of remission, her cancer returned. A bone marrow transplant put her in remission again but caused acute graft vs. host disease. Chemo severely damaged her heart. In September 2021, she had surgery to place a pump in her heart. The surgery was a success, but her kidneys failed, she suffered a stroke & never recovered. Abby passed away on October 19, 2021.
